Intro:
At Spark Educational Equity Foundation (SEEF), we believe that access to information is a cornerstone of quality education. Many young learners in remote communities across Ghana have limited exposure to educational media, leaving them at a disadvantage compared to their peers.
The Initiative:
To honor deprived schools and underserved students, SEEF proudly paid the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) TV license fee on behalf of two selected schools in rural areas. This initiative ensures that students in underserved communities can benefit from educational programming, broadening their horizons and connecting them to the wider world.
Why It Matters:
Educational media provides students with exposure to new ideas, cultures, and knowledge beyond the classroom. By fulfilling this duty, SEEF stands as a voice for those who are often unheard, reinforcing our mission to build an informed and educated society.
Impact:
- 📺 Rural schools gain access to educational broadcasts
- 🌍 Students are introduced to broader learning opportunities
- ❤️ Communities feel included in Ghana’s educational journey
Let this initiative remind us that building an informed and educated society starts with all of us. Together, we spark change. Together, we support the future of Ghana’s children. Together, we rise.
